ACTLAP has developed partnerships with other organizations and groups to achieve its objectives. They include:

  • Canadian Council for the Blind.

  • Individual such as Dr K. Klover & Dr Mejilla of Mejilla chiropractic, Mississauga, ON for Computer collection initiative and Dr Martin Somoiloff Ph.D, president of Bioquest International Environmental Services, Winnipeg Manitoba.

Our Appreciation to:

  • Kevin Innes - DARE FOODS based in kitchener, Ontario Canada who have till date donated over 200 computers and other computer hardware to ACTLAP for you YEP and Computer Literacy campaign initiative.
  • Dr. Mejilla and Dr. Klover at Mejilla Chiropractic and Associates Based in Mississauga Ontario, Canada who at present have shown their efforts in collecting Computers, Hardware, materials and fundraise through their establishment.
  • Mr. Gurmail Kharpal at  Le page a division of Henkel Canada Limited Based in Brampton, Ontario, Canada for the donation of their used computer and printer. His interest to refer ACTLAP to potential donors is also appreciated.
  • DELL Computer Corporation (Toronto, Canada) through Mr. Edward Miller, donated a large number of computer equipments. DELL Computer Corporation (Canada) presently stands at #1 in ACTLAP list of computer collection from companies in a single donation. 188 units was collected Dec 07, 2001.

Africa

ACTLAP has gained a wide spectrum of interest and support of many high level individuals in Africa.

The support became quite overwhelming with the donation of a 400ft. wide by 800ft. deep land for the first permanent site for ACTLAP Training complex in Africa – in Benin City, Edo State, Nigeria and pledge of support for the initiative to help youth by:

  • The Guardian Newspaper: One of Africa and the UK's most popular newspapers has donated a quarter page dedicated specifically for ACTLAP and it's advertisement every week.
  • Technocrime Nigeria Ltd: One of Africa's largest security companies with over 5,000 security guards located right in the heart of Africa's most popular city, Lagos in Nigeria.
  • NCC: The National Communication Commission in Nigeria is Africa's most powerful communication department.  The NCC has shown great interest in assisting with providing communication licenses.  This will help to facilitate the Internet connection to create easy access to the Web, Net works and communications for the students in this program locally and internationally.
